This window was made in honour of gaynor's  own Father, who was a very prominant shellfish expert, who helped to set up the Lobster Hatchery in Padstow. After his death the hatchery dedicated a study room to Dr  eric edwards,  and gaynor asked if she could make a commission to hang in the room as a tribute to him, and this was the result.
